Begin your journey at Oodnadatta on the road to Alice Springs. You will be a part of the 'handover and counting of cattle', the official start of the Drive. At night, join the celebrations in the town, where you can expect plenty of traditional Outback festivities!

The scenery is spectacular with colorful rocky landscapes; seasonal rains often leave the desert vibrant with plants and animals. You'll hear the stories of the settlers, along with historical accounts by descendants from original inhabitants, the aborigines.

Join in as much or as little of this cattle drive as you wish; optional coach tours on Days 3 and 4 are available to show you further regional highlights and histories.
