There are no free tours of Murano. Usually, the free tours are just a gimmick by
glass factories to show their wares and then pressure you to buy.
Many times these factories are just regular glass manufacturers, with goods of no
artistic value.

 |
For this reason, I went to Murano to investigate and evaluate a few of these factories.
My recommendation is that you visit "Massimiliano Schiavon"
|
|
This is not an ordinary glass factory, but one that produces works of art, original
pieces that you will be proud to own.
The owner, Mr. Massimiliano Schiavon, has agreed to give a 20% discount to all my
clients.
When the hotel's concierge offers you a free tour of Murano, just tell him yes,
but that you want to include the Massimiliano Schiavon factory, and also be allowed
to walk around the island
